Garlic, Garlic, and More Garlic

On tonight's menu: Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic.  Yep, FORTY Cloves!  Good thing I love me some garlic.

Quick rundown on the process...

Pretty simple - Garlic, Chicken, S & P, Chicken Stock, White Wine, Olive Oil & Butter

Step 1: Peel 40 Cloves of Garlic
How can anything with this much garlic not have great potential?

Step 2: Season and Brown the Chicken

Step 3: Cook the Garlic Until Brown

Step 4: Put Chicken back in Dutch Oven on Top of Browned Garlic and Cover

Finished Product

I was a bit underwhelmed with the flavor of the finished product.  I mean, it was good, but not quite as fabulous as I was expecting.  Well, that's not exactly right - the chicken itself was good, the sauce however, was deeee-lish-us!!!!

Good news is that the dish provided me with plenty of scrumptious, juicy chicken I shredded after dinner to use in the empanadas I am planning on making this weekend!
