Random musings from a 30-something about world-wide travel, good food, great friends and living life.
YUM. The only sad thing is that you didn't have any left over to just eat with a spoon. That happens to be my favorite way to enjoy Nutella.
In a way though, it was a blessing that there wasn't any left! Because I too will eat the stuff straight out of the jar. Whenever I have some in my pantry it seems I am always trying to come up with ways to include it in a meal or snack. I am a sucker for fresh crepes with nutella inside and fresh whipped cream on top. Mmmm.
We love Nutella! On apples, bananas, toast! My kids will try anything with Nutella. Can you share your recipe? Thanks! Kay
I've always wanted to try Nutella crepes! Do you have a good recipe?
I'm doing a post on the dessert later in the week, but I made a Nutella Panna Cotta yesterday. Here is a link to the recipe I usedhttp://www.lululuathome.com/2010/06/nutella-panna-cotta.htmlHaven't tasted it yet or finished taking pics, but we have given 4 away to friends yesterday and today. Hopefully the finished product tastes half as good as the "batter" that I licked did. Robin - this is terrible to admit, but I use a crepe mix. It's called Voila La Crepe and is from Williams Sonoma. I also got my crepe pan and spatula from there as well. Well, I didn't purchase them, they were a gift.
A mix??! How can you even call yourself a cook? Haha...just kidding. Sometimes a mix is the way to go.
I know, it's humiliating to admit. Truly I use it because it was a gift, I have tons of it and it's actually pretty good. :)
